Story: Ohio Story Chapter 1: Born and Missing

May nineteenth was the miracle day in Holmsville Ohio. That’s because it was the day the baby prince was born. He was a beauty, if I do say so myself. The prince had light brown fuzz on his head, and baby blue eyes. He had long eyelashes, and he had slightly tanned skin. As soon as the news spread through the town, almost everyone was outside, trying to get a glimpse inside the castle. Soon enough, the king and queen took him outside, and the queen held the baby snug in her arms to keep him warm. “Hello my fellow subjects. Thank you for coming here today to celebrate my new son. We have not yet decided on a name, but we will be sure to keep you all in the know.” Said the queen. Then, everyone started shouting names at the king and queen. “Ben!” cried a little boy, who appeared to be five. “EINSTEIN!!!” screeched an elderly lady. “Thank you for the names, but we will have to decide inside, where it is warm. The baby will catch a chill.” Said the king. Even before he finished, everyone quieted down. Only few whispers were heard. That’s because the king is known to have a special…power. He can supposedly tell people to do things in his mind. Anyway, the king and queen went inside, and started discussing baby names. “Josh? Joe? Jake? Liam? Steve? Bob? JACK ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME????” screamed the queen. “Jacob.” The king said slowly. “Jacob?” asked the queen. “IT’S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!!” they both squealed, jumping up and down like little kids. “Excuse me your highness's ” said one of the castles maids. The king and queen stopped jumping around and stared at her. “You have a visitor in the main entrance, sorry to disturb your… joyfulness.” Said the maid. The king replied, “And who is this visitor, may I ask?” “I don’t really know, sir. She said that it was very… important. About the baby.” She spoke fast as if in a hurry to leave the room. The queen suddenly screamed as loud as possible. “What? What?” the king bellowed. The queen had just noticed that the baby was missing! The maid slowly backed out the room as if they had just grown ten heads. The queen was so upset and anxious, that she fainted into the king’s arms. All of a sudden, there was a thump at the door. The king gently lay down the queen onto the table, and peeked through the eye hole  Through the tiny hole, he could see a young female, around the age of 25. She had stretched crimson hair, and auburn eyes. Her skin was tanned, but was absolutely striking. He instantly opened the door and welcomed her inside. She spoke swiftly with a high-pitched voice. He was so star struck by her amazing looks; he was distracted from what she was saying. Suddenly she held out her hand and said, “I expect it by tomorrow. Agreed?” and he suddenly shook his head and said “yeah…sure. Whatever you say madam.” And shook her hand. She then walked out of the room, and the king collapsed onto a swivel chair in the middle of the room. He thought, wow. Being that attractive should be illegal! Then he stood up and shook the queen awake. The queen suddenly smacked his arm, and then the king pulled back in alarm. She said, “Whoa. Sorry babe. Didn't know what just happened. I just had the strangest nightmare. Want to hear it? Course you do. Don’t laugh, just listen. Okay. I just dreamed that our baby was…missing!!!” “Oh. My queen? And-king? Sorry to interrupt, but your baby is… missing.” Said the maid in an annoyed tone that sent the queen wild. She screeched as loud as she could and so the maid and king both said quickly, “but don’t worry, we are sending search parties. We’ll find him in no time!” but none of them were certain. As the queen stood, shaking, the maid walked out of the room shaking her head and whispering to herself. The king and queen followed her into the hallway, the king calming the queen down, and trying to help himself believe in search parties. As they sauntered down the hallway to their room, they breathed faster than usual. The maid noticed, and turned around to check on them every now and then. As they reached the master bedroom, the queen smiled warmly at the maid, and said to her, “thanks for watching over the kingdom with the king and I.” Then she and the king walked into the room to sleep. As they slept, she tossed and turned and then woke up screaming.
